2015 Will E. Cox
Blend - red
Cimarron Vineyard and Pillsbury Vineyard
August & September
TA: 5.7 g/L
Aged 11 months in 14% new and 14% 2-year-old French oak (Damy Cooperage). Twice racked. Filtered, but un-fined.
In this blend, we seek to harmonize the elegant red fruit, spice and silky femininity of AZ Grenache with the more powerful characters of Syrah and Tempranillo. This wine is becoming a special one for us to highlight the complexity and austerity of Arizona terroir and the beauty of blending. One of our largest blends of the vintage at only 7 barrels.
