2014 Le Blend
Blend - red
Cimarron Vineyard, Dragoon Mountain Vineyard and Fort Bowie Vineyards
TA: 5.7 g/L
Aged 11 months in 17% new French oak and 8% new Hungarian oak. Twice racked. Un-fined and unfiltered.
Sangiovese adds a feminine layer of rose petals and red fruit. Syrah contributes dark fruit, tannin and earthy spice. Tempranillo gives even more depth and concentration, while Graciano ups the spicy/juicy, dark plum character. A balanced wine great for pairing with a range of foods, this is one of our largest blends of 2014 at only six barrels.
