Tasting Notes
The same alluring Tempranillo from the 2012 Bigness accented with the tannin and acidity of Tannat from the same vineyard. The Bigness is an instant crowd favorite and a great canvas to showcase the terroir of the Sulphur Springs Valley in Southeastern AZ. A soft, dark wine with warm spice and pleasant richness. Only 3 barrels produced.

67% Tempranillo and 33% Tannat Cochise County Arizona from Dragoon Mountain Vineyard at 4,300 Ft. elevation.
Production Notes
Destemmed but not crushed to open-top 1/2-ton bins. Cold-soaked 24 hours, then fermented with specially selected yeasts. Hand-punched 3-4 times daily. Pressed at dryness after 10 days skin contact. Induced malolactic fermentation. Settled 5 days before barreling. Thrice Racked. Unfined and unfiltered.
