Wine Profile
Tasting Notes
Juan Alba has been farming grapes for more than 20 years. He worked with Dick Erath in Oregon before joining him in AZ for the planting of Cimarron Vineyard. Juan then stayed on as manager at Cimarron after Dick sold the vineyard to Todd and Kelly Bostock of Dos Cabezas Wineworks. He also maintains a small, personal vineyard near the town of Elfrida. These grapes come from that vineyard and make an interesting contrast to those from Cimarron. This wine might be a little grittier and less polished, but it might also be a little more complex and wild like its AZ terroir. Only one barrel produced!
